| Bio: | Hello, I'm Elyssa, nice to meet you. Though I'm just seventeen, there have been many bumps in the road thus far in my journey. However, when I think back on all of them, I wouldn't change those experiences. No matter how much pain they've brought into my life. Those events have led me to where I am now. I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason. God has my path planned out already. Everyone I know, I know for a reason. Sometimes the reasons aren't presented to you immediately, or presented clearly. Sometimes they aren't presented directly at all. But eventually over time you'll figure it out. Everything I have ever been through has molded me into who I am today. (Even though there are things I'm unhappy with, it's nothing that can't be changed with some work.) All the negativity has made me into a fighter, it's made my skin a bit thicker and my heart a little bit stronger. Then again, it's caused me to develop trust issues and to put up walls. I'm much more careful with who I confide in. But you know what? Those who care enough will find a way around my walls, and take time to earn my trust. The rest of my journey will carry on the same way - with the Lord guiding me through the path that He set for me. I appreciate all the good things and people in my life. I know there are flaws in my life and in myself, but I know it could be so much worse, and I always keep that in mind. I'm grateful for all that I have. Truly, I am a wonderful girl with some minor glitches. If you are someone who's willing to accept that and embrace me as I am, then my doors always open. It's up to you to walk through it. | |||||
